A genuine partnership built around the people who do the teaching.
Most class businesses turn teaching into a side gig. We don't. We're built around the idea that great teachers do their best work when the business side gets out of the way — when the room is set up, the students show up, and the operational support is real.
In return, we ask that teaching at The Hobbiest matters to you — that you teach with us regularly, and that the students you meet here stay here. The full terms get worked out together.
This is a partnership, not a side gig. We invest in the room, the students, and the operations. You invest in the teaching.
Two beautifully renovated buildings on North Main Street, designed for teaching. Workshop space, tables, lighting, coffee. Setup is handled. Cleanup is handled.
Marketing, social, registration, scheduling, student communications. The whole back-office layer is on us so you can focus entirely on the teaching.
You choose the curriculum, the materials, the size of the group, and the rhythm of the sessions. We trust you to know how to teach what you teach.
